Dr. Erin Gambetti PT
Dr. Erin Gambetti is licensed and practicing in the state of Illinois as a physical therapist and athletic trainer. From 2011 to 2015, she worked as the Manager of Athlete Care for the Women’s Tennis Association working with the top professional female tennis players in the world. She provided rehabilitation services to the elite women’s tennis players at international tournaments and worked as the lead physical therapist at several of the Grand Slams including the US Open, Australian Open, and Roland Garros. She completed a sports physical therapy residency with St. Luke’s Sports Medicine in Boise, ID. She provided physical therapy services to the Idaho Steelheads and Idaho Stampede in addition to the community and a local high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University and graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is certified as a Sports Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
She and her husband, Clay, have two sons, Alex and Connor. After living in St. Petersburg, FL for 6 years, they relocated back to the Central Illinois area to be closer to their extended family and friends. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and attending sporting events.
