Dr. John M. Everingham, D.C., is a chiropractic physician at Central Illinois Spine, serving patients throughout Bloomington, Normal, and McLean County. He focuses on restoring function and reducing pain through chiropractic care, spinal decompression, and physical therapy.

Dr. Everingham believes in treating the whole patient, taking the time to understand each person's history and needs before recommending a personalized, conservative care plan.

Background & Credentials

Dr. John Everingham was born in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Port Huron, Michigan, at the age of eight. He graduated from Port Huron High School and later from Northern Michigan University, then attended National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He began his career at Bloomington Chiropractic Center, becoming the owner in 2008.

Dr. Everingham is married to his wife, Janice, and has two children, Jessica and Joshua. He grew up in a holistic household and received his first chiropractic adjustment at 16 — from a chiropractor who was totally blind. That experience inspired him to become a chiropractor himself. Across 38 years of practice, he has successfully treated patients with chiropractic care, and outside the clinic he enjoys woodworking, traveling (he loves to snorkel in the Caribbean), and motorcycles. Dr. Everingham was voted "Best Chiropractor in Bloomington-Normal, IL" in 2022 and 2025.
